Zelda "Terri" Marie Welsh Bittle, age 83, of Callahan, Florida, gained her wings on June 28, 2023.  She was born on July 15, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late James Robert Welsh and Violet E. Cline Welsh. Terri lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her late husband, Woodrow Howard Bittle until he passed away on February 12, 1972. She then moved to Clayton, New Jersey and spent the next 44 years there.  On December 21, 2022, Terri moved to Florida to live with her daughter and son in law, Kathryn and Butch Hartman, Sr. She wanted to be closer to her other daughter, Sandra Thompson who lives in Crawfordville, Florida, and the rest of her family. Over the years, Terri had several jobs.  She worked as a Telephone Operator and produced marketing products for the Philadelphia Refinery and was in a commercial while employed for the BP Oil Company.  Terri enjoyed cold coffee and eating good meals. Having chocolate after every meal was a must. She also enjoyed traveling all over the world, skiing, going on cruises, horseback riding, playing solitaire, sudoku, cryptograms, word search and putting puzzles together. Terri loved her German Shepherds, cat, Moocher, her big continental Cadillacs, sewing, knitting, and cooking but her most favorite thing to do was going to the basement to make furniture and crafts.  More than anything, Terri enjoyed spending time with her family who she loved dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Violet Welsh; husband, Woodrow "Woody" Bittle; granddaughter, Amy Lynn Purvis; and son in law, Jim Thompson.

Terri leaves behind her loving daughters, Kathryn (Butch, Sr.) Hartman, Sandra Marie Thompson; grandchildren, Kari (Tony), Ty (April), Suzie (Chris), Michael (Rachel), Matthew (Jenna), Alex (Heather), Butch, Jr. (Ali), Krystle (Scotty), Logan (Audra), Dane (Jenny); great grandchildren, Addison, Samantha, Lacey, Annie, LeeAnn, Avril, Travis, Jr., Skylar, Alex, Logan, Bree Maddox, Brady, Braxton, Clayton, Grant, Hannah, Daniel, Hope, Riker, Taylor, Aiden, James, Kai; great-great grandchildren, Blake, Cooper, Nora; brothers, Robert (Margaret)James Welsh, Donald (Deloris) Lee Welsh, James (Sandra) Lewis Welsh; sisters, Betty, Sandra; several nephews, nieces and cousins; close friends, Greg Bennett, Robert Mitchell and Jim Lombardo, Jr.

A Celebration of Terri's life will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Mallard officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests making a donation to their favorite charity in Terri's name.  Interment will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park at 75 Memorial Drive, Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania 17972.
