Freeman – Willieda Freeman, age 87, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on February 16, 2022.  Willieda was born in Seco, Kentucky on November 13, 1934 to the late Garrett Calhoun and Jernie Mae Sexton Calhoun. She has been a resident of Hilliard, Florida and a faithful member of Buford Grove Baptist Church for the past 20 years. Willieda had a giving, loving heart of gold.  She loved to laugh; always made you feel welcome but more than anything Willieda loved her family with everything she had.   She always made sure they were taken care of; if you left her house hungry, it was your fault! She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert Harold Freeman; son, Keith Freeman.

Willieda leaves behind her daughters, Wanda (Jim) Ward of Folkston, GA, LaDonna (Noah) Cadle of Knoxville, TN; grandsons, William Butler of Jacksboro, TN, Tyler Hermann of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters, Tracy Butler of Folkston, GA, Shanna Butler of Folkston, GA; great grandchildren, Dakota, Brittany, Justin, Kaylee, Sabrina, Billy; great-great grandchildren, Mia, Meadow, Javiona, Evylynn; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Freeman.

A Graveside Service for Willieda will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Buford Grove Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida with Pastor Michael Pruitte officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.   The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
