Virginia K. Jackson, 84, of Callahan FL went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2019.

She was born on December 23, 1934 in Ewing KY to Noble and Mable McKee. Virginia was a member of Vogt Senior Center in Philadelphia, Crossroads Community Church in Philadelphia, Tacony Senior Center in Philadelphia and 1 ^st Methodist Church in Callahan. She graduated from Fleming County HS then married her sweetheart James J. Jackson SR in 1957 in Clark County Indiana. She enjoyed reading, going to Atlantic City casinos, many senior bus trips, traveling to her hometown in KY and spending time with her cat Sefar. She loved catching up with old friends and family from Philadelphia on the phone.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; Noble and Mable McKee, husband; James Jackson SR, son; James "Jimbo" Jackson Jr, brothers; Robert and Leslie Arnold McKee. She is survived by her daughter; Karen Jackson (Dusty) Barr, daughter-in-law; Pat Andrews, grandsons; Dusty (Amanda) Barr Jr, Christopher (Lacey) Barr and Tyler Barr, great-grandson; Christopher T. Barr, nieces and nephew; Becky (Paul) Anderson, Jim and Joyce Krzywicki and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 30, 2019 in Jones Cemetery beginning at 12:00 PM with Jackie Hayes officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in her memory be made to either Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research Foundation or Glioblastoma Foundation.
