Vicki Cravey (née Taylor), age 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on April 7, 2026. Born on February 23, 1952, in Pomona, California, Vicki lived a life marked by love, resilience, faith, compassion, and strength.

In 2007, Vicki was diagnosed with cancer and given just six months to live. Through her incredible strength, unwavering faith, and perseverance, she overcame that diagnosis and remained cancer-free for the rest of her life, allowing her many more cherished years with her family.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Gerald Taylor, and is survived by her husband, Tom Cravey; her daughter, Odessa Jones; her son, Joshua Cravey; her grandchildren, Peyton Jones and Madelyn Jones; and her expected grandson, Sager Cravey.

Vicki was a faithful Christian and a strong believer in Jesus Christ. Her faith was a steady source of strength throughout her life and was reflected in the kindness, grace, and love she showed to others.

Vicki found joy in life's simple pleasures such as baking, sweets, shopping, going out to eat, seeing movies, listening to classic rock, spending time at the beach, and making memories with family and close friends. She especially treasured visiting her siblings and parents in California.

Vicki will be remembered for her gentle spirit and hopeful, positive outlook, which left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

The tribute above was prepared by Vicki's loving family.
