Harrell – Vernon Wayne Harrell, age 68, of Callahan, FL passed away on August 2, 2021 He was born on February 12, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to Fred E. Harrell and Earlene Hester Crozier. After meeting the love of his life, Lona and Vernon wed on February 28, 1972 and then went on to having 2 beautiful daughters.  Vernon was an all-around great man who loved his wife and family dearly.  He was a hard worker and you'll never find someone more honest.  In Vernon's spare time, he enjoyed fishing and eating good food.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lona Harrell.

Vernon leaves behind his daughters, Wendy McClanathan, Krystle (Jonathan) Rocca; brothers, Jimmy Harrell, Mark (Ginger) Harrell; sisters, Peggy (David) Gibson; grandchildren, Jonathan Rocca, Jr., Nicholas Rocca, Landen McClanathan.

A Celebration of Vernon's Life will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
