Higginbotham – Thomas "Tommy" William Higginbotham, age 68, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1951 in Fernandina, Florida to Clarence Frazier Higginbotham and Susie Sapp Higginbotham.  Tommy was a native of Nassau County and was a member of Callahan First Baptist Church.  On September 20, 1980 Tommy married the love of his life Debra Davis. Together, they had two beautiful daughters, Ashley Lynn and Carrie Ann.  He worked as a technician at Rayonier, Inc. for 36 years before retiring in 2013.  Tommy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing.  Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Higginbotham; and his sister, Betty Anderson.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debra; his daughter, Ashley L. (Bryce) Fowler of Bryceville, FL; and his grandchildren, Cameron and Brylynn.

A Celebration of Tommy's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00a.m. at Callahan First Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends Friday, July 10, 2020 from 5:00-7:00p.m at Nassau Funeral Home.
