Higginbotham – Thomas Jefferson Higginbotham, age 92, of Callahan, FL, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2021.  He was born to the late Napoleon Broward and Hattie Ella Higginbotham in Hilliard, FL.  Thomas was a devoted member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.  In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed gardening and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret "Peggy" Higginbotham; daughter, Deborah Elaine Keene; grandson, Thomas Martin Higginbotham.

Thomas is survived by his children; Marty (Debbie) Higginbotham, Christine Keen, Tommy (Dawn) Higginbotham; grandchildren, Jaime Purvis, Kristin (Scott) Dover, Samuel (Kaylie) Higginbotham, April (Bryan) Higginbotham, Emily (Matt) Shute, Jonathan (Amanda) Higginbotham and Andrew (Breanna) Higginbotham; 17 great grandchildren; 8 nieces; 15 nephews.

A Celebration of Thomas's Life will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11am at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church with Father Bui officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
