Thomas Lee Bennett (Tom), 71, of Callahan, Florida passed away on 8/25/2019.  Thomas was born to Atha Farris and Thomas Bennett on October 28, 1947.  He served in the U.S. Army and was awarded multiple medals, with one being a National Defense Rifle Marksman medal.

He loved to fish and hunt with his son & grandsons, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with our mom and his chihuahua, Duck.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bennett; brother: Floyd Farris (Shirley); sister: Wilma Byrd (Lloyd); children: Atha Brown (Beryle), Tracey Robinson (Jason) and Tommy Bennett; grandchildren: Brittney Yingling, Samantha Boucher, Matthew Boucher, Hailee Boucher, Ryan Mencner and Hunter Bennett; great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Madilyn and Waylon.

We will receive family & friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Nassau Funeral Home @ 541720 US Highway 1, Callahan, Florida 32011.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 @ 11:30 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
