Terry Parson, Sr., age 71, earned his heavenly wings on December 10, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL.

He was born in Campbellsville, KY on December 20, 1947 to Ada Leona Parson.

Terry proudly served in the United States Navy as a radar specialist until his honorable discharge. After his Navy service he worked for the United States Postal Service for 36 years.

Terry delighted in taking trips to the Keys where he enjoyed dolphin and snapper fishing. He also liked spending time in Steinhatchee scalloping and fishing. He was always willing to help a friend in need. Terry most enjoyed spending time with his best friend and wife, Betsy and was a loving and proud "Papa" to his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his wife Betsy, and children Paul Parson (April), Terry Allan Parson, Jr., Jason Brooke, Patrick Brooke, Jeff Brooke (Angie), Brian Brooke (Courtney), 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and brother Tim Jones (Kellie). He was preceded in death by his mother and son, David Parson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Nassau Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4pm with services following at 5pm. His ashes will be interred at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
