Howard – Tammy Lynn Howard, age 63, of Callahan, Florida passed away on February 2, 2023.  She was born on December 2, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Ellis Howard and Vera Jean Clark Howard.  Tammy was raised in Callahan, Florida and was proud to call it home.  In her earlier years, she worked as a waitress and enjoyed serving and helping others.  Tammy also enjoyed dancing, singing, and going to the beach.  She loved her Lord and savior and reading her bible.  Due to her health issues later in life, Tammy was unable to attend church services however, that did not stop her from worshiping and watching church sermons every Sunday morning. Tammy also loved her family and friends; even her "quiet" and "bad mouth" friends.  More than anything, Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Hoppy who is going to miss her dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Timothy Lamar Howard.

Tammy leaves behind her loving children, Brandy Johns, Michael Johns; grandchildren, James Tyler Johns-White, Dylan Kane White; nephews, Timmy Howard, II, Scotty Howard.

A Celebration of Tammy's Life will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at The Anchor Church of God with Rev. Sarah Team officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
