Hurkes - Suzannah "Nikki" Nichole Hurkes, age 41, of Yulee, Florida

passed away August 27, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Nikki was born on September 5, 1979 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nikki's life wasn't easy nor was it glamorous, but regardless of what people saw she taught us so much about love, patience, and kindness. She truly was an angel that God sent to Earth. No matter the situation, when you walked into a room where she was you felt genuine love and happiness. Her love for chocolate and ice cream would always make you smile a little longer. We will smile for the memories we have. She will be dearly missed. Nikki was preceded in death by her mother, Miney Jean.

Nikki is survived by her siblings, April & Joshua Johnson, Martha & Antonio Nance, Gloria & Jon Ross Ashley, Nicholas & Jessica Hurkes; special niece, Peyton Barnes; nieces, Honey, Annaka; nephews, Tristan, Jaison, Alexander, Emre, Levi, Tobias, Rayf, Xander, Dakota;  special cousin, Penny; many more cousin and the family from Care Center of Nassau along with many other special friends and extended family.
