Hudson – Shirley Jean Hudson, age 85, of Callahan, FL went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2021.  She was born on November 7, 1935 in Plant City, FL to Odis Geiger and Elma Durrance.  Shirley has been a resident of Nassau County since 1972.  She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Gray Gables and more recently First Baptist of Church of Baldwin.  In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hudson; stepsons, Jack Hudson, Bruce Hudson.

Shirley leaves behind her children, Vicki (Chuck) Cornaire of Callahan, FL, Joey (Teresa) Hudson of Callahan, FL; stepson, Mike Hudson of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Dr. Glenn Geiger of Fernandina Beach, FL, Wayne Geiger of Plant City, FL; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev.
