Fields- Shirley Doreen Fields, age 91, of Callahan, Florida passed away on July 16, 2022, at Palagio Senior Living Center in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Bunclody, Manitoba Canada on February 2, 1931, to the late Ernest Fraser and Tina Wiebe Fraser. She was raised in North Dakota and graduated from Thompson High School in Thompson, North Dakota. Shortly after graduating, Shirley married the love of her life, Roy T. Fields. They shared many beautiful years together.  Shirley was most passionate about raising her babies, taking care of her home, and she loved spending time with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her sweet legacy will live on through the lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, James Fraser.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Linda (Donald) Suriano of Jacksonville, FL and Marilyn (Steve) Kilpatrick of Callahan, FL, sister; Delores Brown; grandchildren, Brent (Kirianne) Suriano, Brock (Ashley) Suriano, Erin (Lawrence) Ruddock, Austin (Debbie) Kilpatrick and great grandchildren, Marlei, Lalla, Lennix, Whit Suriano. Kallie and Brady Nowell, Henry, Jacob, and Ellie Ruddock, Taylor and Elin Kilpatrick.

A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Kinley officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770.
