Thomas – Shirlene Sandel Thomas, age 72, of Callahan, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on April 12, 2021.  She was born on May 14, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Gerivase Sandel.  Shirlene loved spending time with her family especially the Sunday card games.  She loved her family and extended family with all her heart.

Shirlene is survived by sons, Robert Lyons, Matthew (Dorie) McRae of Heath Springs, SC; daughter, Kristi (Red) Harrison of Bryceville, FL; grandchildren, Allan (Chloe) Harrison of Callahan, FL, Alex (Hailie) McRae of Callahan, FL, Dakota and Chesney of Lancaster, SC, Katelyn McRae of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, James (Jackie) Sandel of Marietta, GA, Gary Sandel of Jacksonville, FL, Ray (Donna -also best friend) Sandel; nephews, Mark (Sabrina) Sandel of Jacksonville, FL, Joseph (Erika) Sandel of Jacksonville, FL, Paul Sandel of Jacksonville, FL; as well as her extended family and friends.
