Hicks – Ruth E. Hicks, age 99, of Bryceville, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on April 24, 2024, with family by her side.  She was born on November 30, 1924, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late H.A. Evans and Gwynne Smith Evans. Ruth was a homemaker and took pride in nurturing for her family.  She was a long-time member of Dinsmore Baptist Church where she loved to worship and serve her Lord and Savior.  She enjoyed reading Amish books and visiting Ohio Amish country. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother that will be dearly missed.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyd Hicks; daughter, Gwynne Lamm; great grandson, Thomas "Bubba" Nazworth; great-great grandson, Hunter Miller.

Ruth leaves behind her grandson, Ray "Peanut" Lamm; granddaughters, Lisa Frasure, Jennie Milberger, Heather Lamm; great grandchildren, Valerie, Brianna, Danielle, Garrett, Tyler, Riley; great-great grandchildren, Brayden, Rayan, Ethan, Mason, Lily and Roman.
