Nabers – Ronnie "Ron" Dee Nabers, age 73, passed away on or about July 1, 2022.  He was born on February 5, 1949, in Belgreen, Alabama to Leslie and Bessie Nabers.  The family moved to Florida in 1954. Ron was a lifelong bachelor with no children. He was an avid runner – running at least five miles every day and participating in (and winning many) marathons throughout his lifetime. Ron was a graduate of the University of Florida (c/o 1972) – where he majored in Journalism. GO GATORS! After graduating college, Ron went on to travel and live in various places throughout the US, such as California, Colorado, and Hawaii. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Bessie Nabers; brothers, Jack and Frank; and nephew, Benji.

Ron is survived by his sisters, Belle Nabers and Angela Hunt; and brother, Bennie (Cindy) Nabers, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
