Ridenour – Ronald "Ron" Ridenour, 79, of Hilliard, Florida went to his new home on Friday, October 16, 2020.  He was born to Glen and Thelma Sherman Ridenour in Auburn Iowa.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Glenda Lou Robb, his daughter, Carol and foster son, Matt.

Ron spent 44 years as an owner operator over the road with the help of the Lord, drove over 3 million miles, accident free across this beautiful country.  He had many stores to tell and moved lots of very unusual freight.

Ron is survived by his wife, Shirlene Rowe Ridenour.  One sister Jan (Dick) Bennett, a niece daughter Charla Jordan and nephew son Eric Conner (BEST MAN), special friend, Gerald Guynn and Rod Martin and many nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Lee officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 -7 pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
