Thrift – Robert Louis Thrift, Jr., age 66, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on February 22, 2023.  He was born on April 5, 1956, in Beaufort, South Carolina to Robert Louis Thrift, Sr. and Iris Prescott Thrift. Robert graduated from West Nassau High School in 1975.  He was a member of Bold City Church where he served as an usher. Robert loved inviting people to church along with sharing the word of God.  Robert had a passion for sports cars, especially Corvettes.  Family was very important to Robert and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Robert was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert leaves behind his loving children, Amy Thrift of Atlantic Beach, FL, Robert Louis Thrift, III of Callahan, FL, Timothy Thrift (Kimberly Lipnick) of Callahan, FL; brothers, Ronald (Sheri) Thrift of Hilliard, FL, Stephen Thrift of Hilliard, FL; sister, Brenda Oakie of Folkston, GA; grandchildren, Hayden Kendall Thrift and Brady Allen Thrift.

A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Buford Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Masters officiating.  Interment will follow at Buford Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. at the church.
