Robert Lee Everly, 83, passed away on February 18 ^th , 2020 in the comfort of his own home. He was born in Callahan, FL on March 5 ^th , 1936 to the late Corbitt Everly and Effie Mixon. Robert spent 20 years of his professional career working for the Nassau County Road and Bridge Department. Upon retiring, he liked to spend his time relaxing at home and tending to his remarkable farm. He also enjoyed telling stories about the old days with family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Bertia Everly (Cheshire), his daughter Sara Everly, and his step brother Kenneth Everly.

Robert is survived by his children Robin (Joe) Latham of Panama City, FL, Billy (Angie) Everly of Callahan, FL, Richard Everly of Pace, FL, and Ryan (Alyssa Burris) Everly of Callahan, FL, his brothers Corbitt Everly Jr. of Hilliard, FL and Johnny (Maxine) Everly of Callahan, FL. He has 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, February 24th, 2020 at Nassau Funeral Home. The viewing will be held at 11 AM and the service will follow at 12 PM with Pastor Darren Wesley officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery in Callahan, Florida. Active Pallbearers: Ray Barns, Gary Thompson, Billy Fouraker, Tommy Chapman, Scotty Bishop, and Dustin Cheshire.
