Bowie – Robert "Bob" Bowie, age 86, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on December 9, 2024. He was born to the late Albert Bowie, Jr. and Margaret Danson Bowie in Jacksonville, Florida on October 24, 1938. Bob began working on the family dairy farm at a young age and was a farmer his whole life. He was incredibly proud of being a farmer. Although being a farmer requires plenty of hard work and dedication, Bob still made time to enjoy life and create memories with his family. He loved to be out on the water fishing with his sons and was a very talented water skier back in his day. Bob's family was the center of his world, and all memories shared will be treasured forever. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cloie Bowie; daughter, Rhonda Sue Bowie; brothers, Johnny Bowie, Albert Bowie, III; and sister, Ann Millan.

Bob leaves behind his loving sons, Robert "Robin" (Kimberley) Bowie, Jr., Todd (Holly) Bowie; sister, Betty (Howard) June Burke; grandchildren, Kristin, Christopher, Justin, Taylor; great grandchildren, Ansley, Avery and Mavery.

A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Dinsmore Baptist Church with Pastor Efton Green officiating.
