Taylor – Randolph "Randy" Charles Taylor, Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at Community Hospice Warner Center Fernandina Beach, Florida after a lengthy battle with cancer. Randy was born on December 21, 1957, in Jacksonville, Florida to Randolph "R.C." and Lula Taylor. As the youngest child and only son Randy was lovingly known by his sisters as a "Mama's boy." Before moving to Callahan in 1999, Randy grew up on the Northside of Jacksonville and held various jobs as an auto body and engine mechanic. He was very skilled in his field and when he was not working on someone else's vehicle he enjoyed working on and restoring his own classic cars. Randy also enjoyed the occasional fishing trip. He dreamed of living in Key West and fishing from the beach. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sisters, Linda Messer and Brenda Holmes.

Randy leaves behind his sister, Libby Scaff, and although Randy did not have children of his own, he leaves behind many fond memories with nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Randy's Life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Nassau Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
