Purvis – Quincy Purvis, Jr., age 82, of Bryceville, Florida passed away on July 11, 2023.  He was born on March 7, 1941, in Ambrose, Georgia to the late Quincy Purvis, Sr. and Eva Mae Hanson Purvis.  Quincy and the love of his life, Arlene wed on June 15, 1960, and they moved to Bryceville, Florida in 1977.  He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves.  Quincy was a member of Assembly of God Word of Light.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.  Quincy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Arlene Sikes Purvis; brother, Marlow Purvis; grandson, Victor Capshaw.

Quincy is survived by son, Troy Quincy Purvis, Sr.; daughter, Gay (Wade) Williams; brothers, Aubrey Purvis, Perry (Brenda) Purvis, Glenn (Ceila) Purvis; sister, Nancy Lee Luke; grandchildren, Samantha, Billy, Holly, Troy, Jr., Emma.

A Celebration of Quincy's Life will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Yerby and Pastor Bob Hoover officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
