Higdon – Patti Joyce Higdon, age 60, of Callahan, Florida passed away on January 3, 2024.  She was born on March 29, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Raymond Bruce, Jr. and Margaret Rose Purvis Bruce. Patti and her high school sweetheart, Donald graduated from New Albany High School in 1981.  They wed on December 8, 1983, were happily married for 40 years, and had 2 beautiful daughters.  Patti and Donald were truly soul mates and enjoyed doing everything together.  Due to Donald being in the United States Navy, their family had the opportunity to travel and see the world.  They lived in many different places; Puerto Rico being one of their favorites.  They settled in Callahan, Florida in 2000 and were proud to call it home.  Patti loved animals and horseback riding. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be missed dearly.  Patti was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter in law, Ally Browder.

Patti leaves behind her loving husband, Donald Higdon; daughters, Brittany (Dale) Browder, Megan Higdon (Teddy Baxter); grandchildren, Austin (Alexis) Browder, Amilynn Browder, Teddy Baxter, Willow Baxter; great grandchildren, Kadance Browder, Austin Browder, Jr., Nilee Browder; brother, Raymond Bruce, III; sisters, Terri Shockley, Susan Moore.
