Hurst - Patricia "Pat" Ruth Moore Hurst, age 76, of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 11, 2022. She was born in Cobleskill, New York to Henry and Ruth Moore. After graduating high school Pat moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she met and married the love of her life, Daniel "Sonny" Jackson Hurst, Jr. Together, Pat and Sonny raised 5 children along with numerous grandchildren. Pat's family was the foundation she built her life upon. She worked as a Home Health Aide for 35 years. Pat had a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She will be dearly missed by so many. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; husband, and sister, Eileen Guido.

Pat is survived by her children, Austin (Mary) Mason, Mary (Chris) Whited, Tracie (Buddy) Spradley, Shanna (Jessie) Shannon, Darcy (Ricky) Nelson; brother, Henry (Connie) Moore; sisters, Sandy (Terry) Bennett, Shirley Alsante, Laura (Larry) Lester, Cathy (Scott) Cameron, Diane Furman; 20 grandchildren; and 41 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Pat will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.
