Patricia Geraldine
Parsons
Sep 10, 1943 — Jun 23, 2025
Patricia Geraldine "Gerry" Parsons (nee Turner) was born on September 10, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up in Jacksonville, graduating from Andrew Jackson High School where she was on the cheerleading squad. After graduation, Patricia worked for the airlines; although she looked like a flight attendant from the 1960s – classy and stylish – she worked there as an executive assistant, frequently the only woman in the room. Patricia retired from the airline and operated a successful appliance store for many years with her husband. She had an aptitude for homemaking, and it was not uncommon for her to open her home to those in need. Nothing was more important to Patricia than her family; she was a fiercely dedicated mother. After the children were raised, she went back to school to get her real estate license. Patricia sold real estate for several years before leaving that career to travel with her husband. She loved adventure and was frequently on a boat heading for the islands, in an R.V. heading to the mountains, or on a plane heading to Europe. Patricia passed away on June 23, 2025, in her Jacksonville home.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Leslie Parsons (Kevin) and Lauren Langham (Sam); her grandchildren, Milo St. Ives, Anna Langham (Azeez), Logan St. Ives, and Sarah Langham; beloved nephews and nieces; her steadfast brother-in-law, Wesley Jones; and her devoted caregiver, Bobby Cutab.
The tribute above was prepared by Patricia's loving family.
