Bell – Mildred M. Bell, age 91, of Callahan, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2026. She was born on November 10, 1934, to the late Everett and Elsie Manning in Jacksonville, Florida. Mildred was one of a kind. She is remembered by her family as country, through and through, having been deeply rooted in Clay Hill of Middleburg, Florida as the oldest of all her brothers and sisters. Mildred started every morning with corn beef hash and grits and took time daily to practice her Southern Baptist faith. The other loves of her life included "The Price is Right", her Christmas shows, fishing, shopping, her exquisite make-up, her white diamonds, and her undeniable draw to the slot machines. Mildred is preceded in death by her loving parents, Everett and Elsie; husband, Edward Bell; sons, Larry Bell, Sr., Clinton Bell; daughter, Susan Bell Love; grandson, Jodie Bell; brothers, Harold Manning, Bobby Manning; sisters, Juanita Burch, Catherine Thornton; her favorite niece, Donna; and a special friend, Andy Morton.

Mildred leaves behind her son, Larry (Tina) Bell, Jr.; sister, Ruby Burger; grandchildren, Daniel Bell, Kayla Bell; and two lifelong friends Kelsie Eckert, Robin Hobbs

A Celebration of Mildred's Life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
