Collins – Michael R. Collins, age 62, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on September 4, 2021. He was born on June 9, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL. Mike was the owner of M& M Marine.  He was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church on Callahan, FL and Fourth Degree of Knights of Columbus.  Mike loved to hunt, fish, reload ammo and Cerakote guns. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard N. Collins.

Mike is survived by the love of his life, high school sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Michele Hartley Collins; son, Brandon Michael Collins; parents, Nancy DeArmon Howell and Jerry D. Howell; sisters, Beth (Alberto) Martinez, Christie (Gus) Stearn; nieces, Ashley Rawls, Paige Thrower; nephews, Luke Stearn, Chase O'Quinn, Tyler Collins, Billy Ruth, Patrick Ruth; beloved dog, Weenie.

A Catholic Mass will be held for Mike on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at River Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Hilliard, FL. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
