Melvin Wilson Cox Jr, 56, of Callahan, Florida went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2020. AKA; Pastor Cowboy. He was born September 23, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to Melvin and Annie Cox Sr. He enjoyed Preaching the Gospel, fishing and hunting. Melvin was the Pastor of Bible Christian Fellowship Church in Callahan, Florida.

Melvin is survived by his wife; Roxanna, son's; Bruce (Rachelle) Cox, Eric (Ashley) Cox, Shane Cox, Matthew Rogers and Bradley Rogers. Chosen Daughter, Lena, Chosen sons; Dakota and Isaiah. Mother and Father; Melvin and Annie Cox, Brother; Danny (Genesis) Cox, Sister; Pam (Tim) Roskie.  Grandsons; Robert, Carsten and Aiden, Granddaughter; Tamia, Nieces; Crystal, Lexi, Danielle, Emily. Great-niece; Skylar, Astrid and Frejya Nephew; Daniel, Great- Nephew; Ryar and the Church family.

The family will receive friends on January 21, 2020 from 5-7 pm in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held January 22, 2020 at Victory Celebration Church, 3220 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida with Pastor Jim Matthews officiating.
