Nault – Mellisa Nault, age 38, of Callahan, Florida was taken from this world way too soon on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Mellisa was born on July 10, 1981 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She graduated from West Nassau High School in 1999, GO WARRIORS!!  Mellisa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.  Her favorite hobbies included arts, crafts, helping the needy, homemaking and entertaining.  She was a champion for the LGBTQ Community.  Mellisa never had a friend with a need or a craft too big or too small.  She never met an animal she didn't want to bring home and save. Mellisa's most important role in life was to care for her family.  Mellisa was an incredible example of womanhood.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James "Poppi" Stokes, Levonia "Meme" Bertie Brown Stokes, and Gladys Thomas Hicks; and one of her fathers, Harold Blitchington.

Mellisa is survived by her husband, Robert Nault; daughter, Victoria Lindsey; son, Austin Nault; mother, Penny Stokes Blitchingon; father, Donald Ray Hicks; sisters, Cheri Hicks, Kayla Blitchington Speke (Nelson); and many other beloved family members, too numerous to name.

A Celebration of Mellisa's life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at  2:30 p.m. at Dinsmore Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Dr. E. Winson Butler officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Dinsmore Baptist Church in Mellisa's name.
