Lacey – Melissa Gail Lacey, age 49, of Callahan, Florida passed away on February 7, 2022.  She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 24, 1972 to the late Edwin Eugene Wrye and Doretha Clark Wrye.  Melissa enjoyed going to the beach, placing bets on card games, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs play. Most of all, Melissa loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Melissa leaves behind her son, Brian Lacey; daughter, Kailey Lacey; brother, Buddy (Tina) Wrye; sister, Tina M. Smith.

A Celebration of Melissa's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Barney officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
