Mary Helen Stokes Sterling Mattocks, 85, of Callahan FL, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2019.

She was born on January 16, 1934 in Lorida FL to Robert and Mary Stokes. Helen retired from AT&T and was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. She enjoyed watching the squirrels play outside and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Helen is survived by her loving husband; Elwin Mattocks, children; Ted (Susie Simmons) Sterling, Beverly (Kerry) Morgan and Debbie (Doug) Love, grandchildren; Charlee (Jamie) Lindsey, Kohl Morgan, Jessie Hersey, Courtney Cunningham, Britanie Sterling, Chad Sterling, Shelby Simmons and Blaine Sterling, great-grandchildren; Chasadie Lindsey, Remington Lindsey, Kirie Phillips, Sylar Neipp and Alessa Neipp.

A viewing will be held on Thursday September 26, 2019 in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel from 5:30-7:00 PM, services will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Lloyd Mattocks officiating. Interment will be held on Friday September 27, 2019 in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 10:00 AM Lane #3. Everyone invited after service to Ed and Helens home.
