Rogers - Mary Rogers, age 79 went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1941 in Lake Butler, FL to Clifford Douglas and Juanita Courson. Mary moved to Callahan, Florida in 1969 with her husband and two children. Mary was a member of Callahan Church of Christ and enjoyed attending services there. Mary worked as a bus driver and bus route coordinator for the Nassau County School Board for 41 years. She enjoyed traveling, and liked to collect things from her adventures. She especially enjoyed the holidays and any time she could cook and spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clayton Douglas, and sister Marie Sheffeild.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Billy Rogers of Hazlehurst, GA, son Ronald Rogers of Callahan, FL; daughter Kim Rowell of Blackshear GA; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Law (Luke) of Blackshear; Kelli Stutsman (Miles) of Hilliard, FL; and Ronald Rogers Jr. of Hilliard, FL and 1 great grandchild, Declan Law of Blackshear, GA.

The pallbearers will be Ronald Rogers, Ronald Rogers Jr., Luke Law and Miles Stutsman.

A Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Monday, December 21, at 10 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Nassau Funeral Home.
