Keefe – Mary Jo Keefe, age 90, of Hilliard, Florida passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. She was born in Tampa, Florida on June 5, 1935, to the late Irving E. Reed and Suzie F. Geiger. She spent her life rooted in the Sunshine State. Mary Jo's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Baldwin for ten years and found great joy and solace in reading her Bible. Mary Jo had a talent for sewing and lovingly crafted all of her daughter's clothes during her childhood. She also had a deep appreciation for nature and took pride in her garden and yard, where she spent countless hours tending to the beauty around her. Above all else, Mary Jo cherished time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.  May her memory bring comfort to all who were touched by her presence.  Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 50 years, Jack Keefe; daughter, Jeannie Marie Keefe; and brother, William Edward Reed.

Mary Jo leaves behind her children, Jack (Carolyn) Keefe, Jr., Mary (Dale) Johnston; brother, Larry (Tim) Reed; sister, Barbara (Chuck) Adams, Dottie Sue Latimer; grandchildren, Regina (Zsolt) Takacs, Chanda Stafford, Laura Elizabeth Kern, Adam Johnston; great grandchildren, Kade Pugh, Matthew Blanchard, and Kendall Blanchard.

A Celebration of Mary Jo Life will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Baldwin with Pastor Chris Drum officiating.
