Martha Jean Gay, 86, of Callahan, Fl, went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2019.

Martha was born on August 26, 1933 in Bacon County, GA to Oscar and Mamie Burnette. Martha was a wonderful sister, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with friends.

She is survived by her loving family; brothers, Howard (Janice) Burnette, Larry (Linda) Burnette, and Gary (Janie) Burnette; and her sister, Patsy Thompson; grandsons; Chris Johnson and Eric Crews; and granddaughters; Melissa Crews and Katie Roche; and a great grandson; Dexter Roche, as well as several nieces, nephews and many close friends.

A viewing will be held on the morning of Friday, December 6, 2019 at River Road Baptist Church from 10-11:00 am. with the funeral service following at 11:00 am. with Pastor Benji Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in the River Road Baptist Cemetery.
