Kalch – Mark William Kalch, age 73, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, at Community Hospice George and Margaret Morris Center for Caring. He was born to the late Lee R. Kalch and Margaret Elizabeth Dakai Kalch in Jacksonville, Florida on August 20, 1951. Mark proudly served in the United States Army, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. A man of faith, Mark was an active member of Lannie Road Baptist Church, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Steve Kalch and Dean Kalch.

Mark leaves behind by his wife of 14 years, Myrtle Kalch; children, Brian (Stephanie) Kalch, Andrea (Jonah) Sulsberger, Gerald Walker; sister, Susan Jowers; grandchildren, Chase Walker, Kevin Hoskins, Elizabeth Hoskins, Grayson Kalch, Summer Sulsberger, Ella Sulsberger; great grandchildren, Kasandra, Olivia; and many nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Lannie Road Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy Wimberly officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery where military honors will be reverend. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
