Gardner - Mamie Pearl Patterson Gardner, age 71, of Hilliard, went to her heavenly home on February 26, 2021, where she received her robe and crown. She was born in McRae, GA on March 22, 1949 to the late Lester and Lois Patterson. Mamie was known for working in the local restaurants and convenient stores of yesterday and even the old A1A Dry Cleaners of Callahan.

Mamie loved keeping her great-grandchildren and sneaking them to Wendy's for a frosty. She would sit on her front porch and watch them play on the playground. She loved her flowers! If you wanted to make her smile, bring her a plant. They covered her porches. She would always ask, "Honey, do you have one of these? Here get you a piece." And most of all, she loved her family! Mamie was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas, Bobby, and Tommy Patterson and her sister Bea Spires.

Mamie leaves behind a family that loves her so. Her brothers are William and Charlie Patterson, sisters are Geraldine Selph and Patsy Fischer. Daughters are Rhonda Rogers, Melissa (Darin) Creamer, Barbara (Paul) Trouille, and bonus daughter April Cottle. Grandchildren are Ronald Rogers Jr., Mindy Blanton, Eleni (Travis) Nelson. Great-grandchildren are Layla, Tayla, Kamie, Steva, Natalie, and Brooklyn. She had an abundance of love that included an extension of family members, nieces, and nephews to wonderful friends.

Her family would like to say "Thank You" to Nassau Funeral Home for the arrangements, Brother Arlie Johns for officiating, and to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, food, and help during this time. We greatly appreciate everyone.

A Memorial Service for Mamie will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11am at Nassau Funeral Home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770. Visit www.nassaufh.com to sign the family's guest book.
