Henderson – Malana De'Ny Henderson Sullivan-Vazquez, age 17, of Callahan, FL passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2021.  She was born on April 15, 2004 in Fernandina Beach, FL.  Where do we start….Malana was one of a kind, had a heart of gold, was full of life, loved helping others, loved animals, was very funny, never met a stranger, and had a sweet voice like an angel, loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and even Tupac Shakur. In her spare time, she enjoyed writing songs, drawing, and playing video games. Malana loved working at the Sheik but most of all she loved spending quality time with her family and friends. Many will tell you that she was a Mama's girl. Malana touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Claudette "Memaw" Jones; grandmother, Paula "Gangy" Jones.

Malana leaves behind her parents, Showna Henderson & Jonathan Sullivan; biological father, Lucio Vazquez; siblings, Jessa Henderson, Keegan Henderson, Lantz Sullivan, Brianna Faith Vazquez, Hayden Bret Vazquez, Vivika Mireya Vazquez, Priscilla Renee Vazquez, Josphyne Ivette Rios; grandparents, Billy Thigpen, David & Debra Smith, Janet "Granny" Perez, Joel "Abuelo" Martin Vazquez, aunts, Michelle Hulbert, Ana Gonzalez; uncles, Sean Hughes, David (Dana) Smith, Justin Hogg, Mauricio Perez; extended aunts & uncles; countless special friends including Amy Dolan and Sydney Skipper.

A Celebration of Malana's Life will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Buford Grove Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.  Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
