Mitchell – Lynda Shaw Mitchell, age 74, of Callahan, Florida passed away on October 5, 2021. She was born on October 10, 1946 in Waycross, Georgia to Lloyd and Audrey Shaw. Lynda was an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan who loved cheering her team on "Sic 'em! Woof! Woof! Woof! She enjoyed dog sitting for her grand dogs, Buckett, Thor, Chloe and Jayden. More than anything, Lynda loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lynda leaves behind her sons, Chuck (Cindy) Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell; grandchildren, Jacob (Tasha) Mitchell, Ariel (Dylan) Mathis, Chase Mitchell, Carson Mitchell; great grandchild, Tatum Wade Mathis, Hudsyn Elisabeth Wells, and many others that called her Nana.

A Celebration of Life Service for Lynda will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
