Kilpatrick – Louis F. "Lou" Kilpatrick, Jr., age 62, of Hilliard, FL, passed away on September 27, 2020 in the comfort of his home.  He was born on March 2, 1958, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Louis F. Kilpatrick, Sr. and Willene Hagler Kilpatrick.  Lou enjoyed his longtime career in construction working for his own company, L.F.K. Construction, Inc.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray Gables, where he loved going on mission trips and working in the children's church.  Lou was an outdoorsman who liked to go fishing and hunting.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend.  He will be dearly missed.  Lou is preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Tony Louis Kilpatrick.

Lou is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Dawn Kilpatrick; his son, Robert Louis (Cynthia) Kilpatrick of Hilliard, FL; his sisters, June Constande of Middleburg, FL, Wanda (Rusty) Phillips of Hilliard, FL, and Judy (Quincey) Harris of Yulee, FL; and his granddaughter, Kailey Hutchens.

A Celebration of Lou's Life will be held graveside on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 3 p.m. at Buford Grove Cemetery, 553270 US Hwy 1, Hilliard, Florida, 32046, with Pastor Cody Page officiating.
