Males – Lorraine Males, age 77, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2022. Lorraine was born on November 26, 1944, in Lawtey, Florida to the late Charlie Ruff Blalock and Rena Griffis Blalock.   Lorraine and the love of her life, John M. Males, were married for 47 wonderful years and together they had 6 children.  She has been a resident of Callahan for the past 35 years.  Lorraine dedicated almost 30 years to the Nassau County School Board.  She worked there as a custodian and retired in 2010.  Lorraine was a faithful member of Boulogne Holiness Church in Hilliard, Florida.  She enjoyed worshiping and attending services there.  There was nothing more important to Lorraine than her family and she loved spending time with them.   She always made you feel welcome and when she said, "make yourself at home," she truly meant it.  Lorraine was a true treasure and will forever be missed.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John M. Males, son, Ronnie Sites; daughter, Brenda Sites.

Lorraine leaves behind her loving children, Barbara (David) Terrell, Lori (Bryan) King, George (Elaine) James, Richard (Angie) James; brothers, Leroy Blalock, Franklin Blalock; sister, Rosie Morgan; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The pallbearers will be Bryan King, Leroy Blalock, Shawn King, Richard James, Michael James, Marshall James.

A Celebration of Lorraine's life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Boulogne Holiness Church with Bro. Andrew Gillis officiating.  Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida, 32011, 904-879-1770.
