Loretta Griffis Conner, 92, of Hilliard, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 18, 2023.

Loretta was born April 27, 1930, in Baker County Florida to Ernie and Nellie Osteen Griffis.

She married the love of her life Clyde W. Conner on January 17, 1948, in Folkston, Georgia.

They had three sons, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Loretta drove a school bus for 28 years for the Nassau County School District.

She loved spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors.

Loretta is survived by her sons: Lawrence A. Conner (Mary) and J. Stan Conner (Karen). Brothers: Joe Griffis (Mavis) and Harold Griffis (Angie). Sisters: Ernie Mae Griffis and Bonnie Varnes (Otis).

Grandchildren: Jason Conner (Heather), Jessica Pazzalia (Joey), Ryan Conner (Amanda), Miraj Misiaszek (Nicholas) & Catherine Reddick (Mac).

Great Grandchildren: Tyler, Rilyn, Katelyn, Clyde, Adelaide, and Emmeline Conner.

She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Conner, her son, Gerald D. Conner, her parents, Ernie and Nellie Griffis, her brothers: D.L. Griffis, Alan Griffis, Frank Griffis, Wayne Griffis and sister, Juanita Griffis Conner.

The family will receive friends at River Road Baptist Church (21067 County Road 121 Hilliard, Florida) Saturday at 10:00 am on March 25, 2023. Funeral Service at 11:00 am, with Pastor Eddie Griffis officiating.

Interment at the Conner-Green Cemetery located at 14150 Pond Fork Hollow Hilliard, Florida.

Pallbearers: Matthew Conner, Tyler Conner, Josh Conner, Brent Johnson, Dustin Williams, Chris Griffis and Chad Conner as Honorary Pallbearer.
