Taylor – Lonnie Ellison Taylor, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2022. He was born in Folkston, Georgia on December 18, 1940 to the late Nelson Ellison Taylor and Margaret Deane Geiger Taylor.  Lonnie proudly served his county as a plumber in the in the United States Air Force. Several years after his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Lonnie pursued a career as a steel worker for A K Steel Corporation.  Lonnie enjoyed fishing, traveling with his late wife, Juanita Taylor in their travel trailer, watching black & white westerns, and listening to mountain music. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Lonnie leaves behind his children, Zackary Taylor, Susan Smith, Donna (Dale) Crosby, Wade Cox; sister, Susan Sapp; 2 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Lonnie's Life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Walker officiating.
