Simmons – Lisa Anne Simmons, age 58, of Callahan, Florida passed away on February 12, 2022 after dealing with heart complications. She was born on November 19, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to Harold A. Phillips and Dorothy H. Smith Phillips.  Lisa lived the majority of her life in Mississippi however, she has been a resident of Callahan, Florida for the past 18 years.  Lisa's favorite color was mauve pink and her favorite flowers were calla lilies.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, making crafts, and going on trips to see manatees.

Lisa leaves behind her parents, Harold A. Phillips and Dorothy H. Phillips; loving husband of 32 years, George T. Simmons, II; children, Kaitlyn D. Simmons (Brian) of Tallahassee, FL, Jared H. Simmons (Aleyy) of Callahan, FL; brother, Mark A. (Anita) Phillips, of Mississippi; cousins, Mandy Hartel, Mary (Ron) Bragg; best friend, Phyllis (Robert) Herring.

A Graveside Service for Lisa will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 11:00 am at Jones Cemetery, 45111 Jones Cemetery Road, Callahan, Florida 32011 with Pastor Ken Barney officiating.
