Linwood Johnson, 73, of Yulee FL went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2019.

He was born on July 8, 1945 in Jacksonville FL to Dave and Dorothy Johnson. Linwood worked hard his whole life taking care of his wife and children whom he loved so much. Together, he and his wife raised 5 wonderful sons and later became grandparents and great-grandparents. They were there for all of their family in the good and the bad times. They had a love for each other that helped them accomplish many wonderful things.

Linwood is survived by his, sons; Mike, Terry, Curtis, Linwood Jr and Brad, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife; Shirley Jean Johnson.

A viewing will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7:00pm and graveside services will be held Saturday June 1, 2019 at Jones Cemetery beginning at 11:00am with Jackie Hayes officiating.

Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Brad Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Michael Johnson Jr and Richard Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Johnson Jr and Jeremy Johnson.
