Lloyd – Lewis Delbert Lloyd, age 79, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on April 9, 2022.  He was born on November 12, 1942, to the late Leonard Lloyd and Evelyn Carter Lloyd in Jacksonville, Florida.  Lewis lived most of his life in Jacksonville and moved to Callahan just 5 short years ago.  He began his lifelong career as a carpenter at the young age of 16.  Lewis enjoyed fishing and hot rods but more than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Charlotte Casey.

Lewis leaves behind his son, Jessie Harrelson; daughters, Rita Murphy, Shelia Smith; brother, Ricky (Diane) Lloyd, David (Cathy) Lloyd; sister, Sylvia (Tommy) McCauley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Lewis's life will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating.  Family will receive friends at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
