Carmichael - Hazel Katherine Carmichael, known to her loved ones as Kathy, peacefully passed away on September 15, 2023, in Fernandina Beach, Florida at the age of 81. Born on August 7, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, Kathy was a woman of deep faith and devoted to her Lord God.

Kathy, or Mom as she was affectionately called, had a heart for worship and would faithfully pray Psalms 91 over her loved ones every day. She was a prayer warrior! Her unwavering love and dedication to her family and her faith will forever be cherished.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Barbara, Leah (Sonny), Melanie (Andrew), and Tonya; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Louis (Linda), Joe (Dorothy), Ernie (Sandy), and Paul. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas; mother, Lillie; beloved son, Norman; brothers, Marvin, Carl; sisters, Alice, Betty and Mary.

Kathy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to have known her.

A Private Memorial Service for Kathy will be held on October 6, 2023, at The Prayer Chapel at Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
