Wilkes – Judy H. Wilkes, age 72, of Callahan, FL passed away on March 29, 2021.  She was born on December 28, 1948 Savannah, GA.  Before retirement, Judy worked many years as a successful bus contractor with Duval County Public Schools.  In Judy's spare time she enjoyed her plants and sewing.  When she was able, she loves attending services at Dinsmore Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Mae Graham; son, William Sean Wilkes, brother, Larry Patrick Hurst.

Judy leaves behind her daughter, Christine Carrigg (David); grandchildren, Brandon Humphries (Kala); Casey Humphries (Chris Hargis); great-grandchildren, Caroline Rae Humphries, Gatsby Zane Hargis; several step-bothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Judy's life will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2 pm at Dinsmore Baptist Church with Dr. E. Winson Butler and Gator Collins officiating.  Interment will follow at Dinsmore Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
