Pittman - Joyce Sharon Pittman, age 79, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on March 16, 1945, in Bryceville, Florida to the late Garrett Fletcher and the late Hazel Smith Seals. Joyce and the love of her life Harry, wed on June 21, 1963, and were happily married for 61 years. Together they had 3 girls, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grands who she enjoyed spending precious time with.

Joyce was a housewife who took care of her home and family. She was "The Mama" not only to her 3 girls but to her entire family. The love she had for them all was indescribable, and she always put everyone before herself. Joyce was a fabulous cook. She loved her roses and doing yard work, and she could sweep up a storm. Joyce will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roger Fletcher, Teddy Fletcher; sister, Diane Burns; and son-in- law, Tony Mathews.

Joyce leaves behind her loving husband, Harry Pittman; daughters, Sherrie (late Tony) Mathews, Susan (Anthony) Farinella, Julie (Brenton) Holley; sisters, Bonnie Wysocki, Janice (John) McGrath, Angie Bennett; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Brooks, Leah Farinella, Schuyler Mathews, Donald "DJ" Farinella, Kearsten Holley, Brealyn Holley, Jaden Holley, and Braydon Holley; great grands, Axl, Crew, Fortune "Ju", Nash, and Adlei.

Pallbearers will be Schuyler Mathews, Donald "DJ" Farinella, Braydon Holley, Jeff Brooks, Aaron Wade, Holden Whiten, Jason Sheffield, and Zach Tulen.

A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11:00 am at Callahan First Baptist Church with Dr. Lynn Hyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
