Gimbel – Joyce Virginia Gimbel, age 76, of Callahan, Florida passed away on April 13, 2023, with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Adel, Georgia on January 29, 1947, to the late John Webb and Myra Pearson Webb. Joyce was a faithful and devoted member of Lannie Road Baptist Church for over 40 years.  She loved the Lord, worshiping, and spreading the gospel. Joyce enjoyed her time working as a bookkeeper for SunTrust Bank for many years.  In her spare time, Joyce loved to get lost reading a good book, playing cards with OLCC and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Joyce is preceded in death by her parents.

Joyce leaves behind her loving children; Frank Gimbel, John (Cindy) Gimbel, Myra (Rick) Rivette; siblings, Lacy Webb, Darlene Browning, Larry (Rhonda) Webb, Lloyd Webb; grandchildren, Robin (Robby), J.J., Alli (Joel), Trey, Jennifer (Jeshua), R.C., Matt (Danielle); 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and several brothers and sisters in Christ.

A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lannie Road Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy Wimberly officiating.   Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
