Johnnie E.
Jones
Jun 21, 1948 — Jan 19, 2025
Surrounded by his loving family, Johnnie E. Jones, age 76, was called to his eternal home on January 19, 2025. Johnnie was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who served honorably during the Vietnam War.
Johnnie was married to his loving wife, Dot Jones, for 49 years. Together they built a legacy of love creating a beautiful family that stands as a testament to their devotion to one another and the values they cherished. His most cherished times were spent with his family and friends, listening to good old country music. He loved the outdoors, whether he was listening to the dogs run in the woods during hunting season, sitting on the bank with a fishing pole, or just riding around the dirt roads. He enjoyed sharing these hobbies with his children, grandchildren, and friends. He was a gentle, kind-hearted man who never met a stranger, and to know him was to love him. He will be greatly missed by many.
